Losing a loved one is hard, creating a beautiful tribute to them, shouldn’t have to be. Ben, our co-founder, started Eulogize after helping his mum create tributes for his grandmother’s funeral. Realizing there needed to be an easier way to collect photos and easily design meaningful memorials particularly for those without a lot of experience with computers or design. Between all our team members we’ve been through the experience multiple times ourselves. We care about the memory of the ones we’ve lost, creating a moment worthy of the life they lived and how they touched ours, and we thought there had to be a better way than what we experienced.Originally based in Sydney Australia, Eulogize is now available globally with members of our small team all over the world.

If you are thanking a large group of people then it is common to send out a template design, often featuring a photo or the key dates of the one who has passed. If you wish to personally thank certain people you can still use a thank you card template and then add your personal message after printing on the front or back. Convey your sinceer gratitude and metion their act or gift that personally touched you.
There is no strict cut off date or deadline but we recomend trying to get the thank you cards out within 2-3 weeks of the service.

Most people use 1-2 songs when creating a funeral video. It depends on the length of each song and how long you would like the video to be.
TBa
From our expereince we suggest that you aim to have your video around 3-5 minutes. Much longer and you can often start to loose the focus of guests.
60-80 photos tends to be the sweet spot for a funeral video. We find that you want to aim to have each photo on screen for 4-6 seconds. Much faster and they will be too fast for people to see but you also dont want to linger for too long on each photo if it is being played during a service.
Creating a funeral video with Eulogize is as simple as uploading your photos, selecting your music then downloading your video. For a more indepth guide, see here.
Yes, all our funeral tributes are able to be downloaded. Each Tributes comes as two PDF files, one for home printing and one with bleed and margin for professional printing.
Folded Funeral Programs or Order of Service booklets are often handed out at the entrance to the service or placed on chairs for people to pick up.
There is no hard rule on who will create the order of service program, particularly if you are having a non-traditional service. Often your funeral arranger or celebrant may include this as part of a service package, but it is increasingly common for families who would like the program to be a personalized memento they keep for years to want to be very involved or create the program themselves entirely. Eulogize allows anyone to easily create a beautiful funeral program.
Yes it is very common for guests to keep the order of service program after the funeral as a little memento of the day particually if it has been printed on high quality paper.

A funeral running order or structure will typically start with a welcome and acknoweldgements, often by the celebrant or officient. This will then be followed by the main part of the service which can be made up of the eulogy, any readings or prayers and music. If you have created a Memorial Tribute Video or funeral slideshow then this will often be played at this point. Then the celebrant will offer any closing remarks before any post service events such as a comittal service, wake or recpetion.
A Two-Sided Funeral Service Card is a simplfied order of service or a funeral program without the inside pages. It can serve as a guide for the service and become a special keepsake for guests afterwards.
Eulogize has many editable templates and designs to choose from but a popular layout includes the name and dates of your loved one plus a favorite photograph on one side and either a meaningful passage or a simplifed order of service on the reverse.
This depends on how you would like to use the tv welcome screen. Often it includes a nice photo, or collection of photos of the person along side their name and dates. It can simply have the words Welcome or Thank You for Coming or be used to display the service timings or details of any after service events.

Most funerals and memorial services have a running order for the ceremony. The Order of Service is a small booklet that outlines the order of the service for guests to follow so friends and family know what to expect during the service. They are often handed out as guests arrive at the service or left on chairs. Many guests treat the Order of Service booklet as a treasured keepsake after the event, as a small memento of the one they’ve lost. Eulogize has pre-made themes to suit all styles, personalities, and tastes. You can use them as they are, or edit them to your liking, creating something truly personalized to the service.
While the content and length can vary, Funeral Program, Service Folders and Order of Service Booklets are effectively interchangeable words that can vary between different countries or even state to state. They are also sometimes referred to as a funeral brochure or service pamphlet.
In addition to the key details of the person’s life, the funeral order of service program often includes the main prayer, poem, or prose that the congregation may read together, the names of the people doing the readings, the celebrant plus the details for any additional gatherings that may be planned after the ceremony. The format for the booklet really is up to your own preference and can include a small picture gallery, a meaningful song lyric, poem or prayer, or can be very simple.
Also commonly called Funeral Slideshows, Visual Tribute or Remembrance Videos, these are a visual presentation often accompanied by music, featuring pictures of the deceased.
